T Woods

T Woods, originally from Milwaukee Wisconsin, is one of Atlanta’s most respected musician/composers - his latest recording, ‘Conversations’, features 9 original works spanning many styles from fusion to Latin Jazz and more and extends to almost one hour in length. The works range from mellow quartet crossover jazz to large scale arrangements featuring many musicians. Several pieces from this recording have been featured on The Weather Channel, the TeleMundo Network, and jazz radio in South America.   Additionally, many selections from his recording 'Just In Time' have been featured on The Weather Channel and have received radio play in various places around the world.    Woods is currently at work on his fourth recording of all original music which will feature several vocalists on 8 pieces.    

 

The variety of compositions on these recordings reflects Woods's broad experience playing thousands of gigs with hundreds of musicians on 5 continents.

Widely known as the premier fretless electric bassist in Atlanta, Gary has been a collaborator on many T Woods projects over the years including recordings, concerts, jazz club dates and more.  

Gary started his musical studies playing accordion - go figure!

Paul Fallat, drums

One of the most in-demand drummers anywhere, Paul has been a collaborator on many T Woods projects over the years including recordings, concerts, jazz club dates and more.    One of the finest soloists to be heard on drums, he is always on!     Paul started his musical studies playing trumpet.

Sam Skelton, woodwinds

A world-class musician we are lucky to have in ATL, Sam has also collaborated on numerous T Woods projects, including all T Woods recordings.    He is heard on hundreds of recordings produced in ATL in the past decades and is head of jazz studies at Kennesaw State Univ.
